Women in Politics
The opening chapters, which deal with the suffrage movement, draw in readers with a lively text that begins with the American Revolution and continues through the present day, with women having shown their place in the House and the Senate. There is also information on the two female members of the Supreme Court and on former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. The text is sprinkled with well-chosen black-and-white photographs, but additional photos would have been nice.
